Role, Responsibilities and Experience
As an education intern in Nepal, you can get involved in a number of different opportunities. Help is always needed, therefore your skills can make a direct and tangible impact on the lives of Nepalese’s youth.
For example, you can work with a local library to provide literacy training. Is there anything cooler than knowing you took part in helping someone learn to read?
Furthermore, if you’re more interested in working in a school setting, motivation assistants are in high demand. This role includes working alongside students, helping them on their education journey and serving a positive role model who inspires and encourages.
Another opportunity is working as a career counseling assistant. This intern works with high school students in local or rural communities, helping prepare for life after school.
No matter which path you chose, your resume will be filled with incredible new skills. Our team will work with you post internship to ensure your resume and cover letters showcase your internship. We’ll even write you personal letters of recommendation to ensure you land that dream job.
Above all, you’ll leave Nepal with a totally unique appreciation for its local culture, people, and beauty.
Explore the Chitwan National Park during a 3 night excursion to one of Nepal’s most biodiverse preservation areas and a World Heritage Site.
Learn to work effectively in a cross-cultural setting by understanding your own work style. GlobeSmart -- an innovative online profile -- will help you make the most of your professional experience.
Enter the country with ease and come back home with a plan. We will provide you with the career guidance and recommendation you need to land your next job.
Find a job in your field or we’ll refund your program tuition! We believe in the value of our programs so much that we will refund you your program tuition if you are not able to land a job in the field of your program within one year of completing your program.
