Role, Responsibilities and Experience
National parks and protected land areas are so important to maintaining Costa Rica’s rich biodiversity. Participate in environmental conservation projects throughout the park with other interns and professional rangers. You’ll help maintain the park facilities, offer guided tours to park visitors, and help with community outreach programs. You’ll strengthen your client relation and communication skills while learning about Costa Rican ecological history and practicing modern techniques to protect wildlife habitats. You can also add education and community outreach to your resume with the national park’s youth education programs.
Further immerse yourself in Costa Rican culture by enhancing your Spanish skills during an intensive language course your first week, designed to fit your Spanish level.
